Every night we have a routine. I cook dinner, and Marrin sits on her chair to watch. The chair is put in this specific spot for 2 reasons. #1- To keep Dale out of the kitchen. (Marrin in- Dale out.) #2- It gives Marrin a spot to sit. She usually knows that she needs to keep her paws on her chair, however, sometimes if something catches her eye, she starts to explore...

Tonight she chose broccoli- literally. She even tried a bite. Turns out, she was smelling the cooking fish. She didn't care for the taste of the broccoli- shocking!

It's not every day you see a harness-wearing kitty sitting on the front porch so calm and content! If you drive by our humble abode, you can often find Miss Marrin sitting happily on her perch. She spends her afternoons watching the squirrels and bunnies scurry about. This cat's got it made...well except for the leash...

Today as Dale and I enjoyed our BBQ picnic in the back yard Miss Marrin had some fun of her own. She found her way to the "let's just let it grow wild" area of the back yard and spent most of the afternoon trying to decide how to sneak up and attack a bunny. Unfortunately, once the Peter Rabbit decided to hip hop away- Marrin was no match for his speed.

We think so.
Marrin and I enjoyed the evening outside on the patio. The weather was perfect! Yes, she is wearing a kitty harness. Now she can't run away!
